The Word of God tells us we are all born sinners and therefore are separated from God. In fact, Ephesians 2:12 says we were “without hope and without God in the world”. Yet throughout the Bible, God also weaves the promise and appearance of a Savior. This promise of Hope came to us through Jesus. In Him we have Hope for the future — that we will be redeemed. Hope for the present — that we are not alone, but are loved and have purpose. Hope even over the past — that our failures are not greater than God’s power to transform. Jesus came not only to bring us Hope but He is our Hope!
Have you ever asked, “Is there hope for my family?” the answer is…yes, of course! Jesus came not only to bring Salvation but also Restoration. He has restoration for you, for your marriage, for your family, and for the world. It is through a relationship with Jesus that the Holy Spirit will begin to change things in you that you didn’t even know about. Receive him today, bring your family to Jesus today, build your home on a firm foundation. Make a declaration…As for me and my house we WILL serve the Lord. “And they said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.” Acts 16:31
If you look around you, watch the new, read the headlines you know the world is a place of turmoil and chaos. Sin and darkness run rampant; the enemy is prowling around looking to destroy everyone he can. However, there is Hope for the world. In John 8:12 Jesus states: “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life”. One of the greatest things about the Christian life is our Hope found in Jesus Christ. Without His sacrificial death on the cross and the power of His resurrection from the dead, we would be a world without hope.
